He works as Program Manager at Kudelski Group, a global leader in digital security and convergent media solutions for the delivery of digital and interactive content. WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO PURSUE AN MBA?
After 15 years working in the telecommunications and internet of things industry, I was exposed to many challenges from business to technology. Having managed complex programs and projects, I acquired analytical thinking, information evaluation, and a goals-driven approach towards achievement over the years. Most prominently, they provided me with insight into business management and focusing on bringing value to the customers.
This executive MBA will help me develop my leadership, provide me with valuable knowledge to expand my managerial skills, and grant me a more decisive perspective towards flourishing business development.
WHICH SKILLS DO YOU WANT TO REFINE DURING THE ON-CAMPUS TRACK?
Authentic leadership is not a utopia; it is all about self-awareness, leading with empathy, and reflecting on failures to transform them into success drivers. It is definitely the skill set I want to develop during my MBA journey.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE FOR THE ON-CAMPUS TRACK AT MAASTRICHTMBA?
I heard about MaastrichtMBA from my best friend; he is a MaastrichtMBA alumnus. I was looking for an MBA programme that brings an actual use case studying and learning approach in addition to the academic approach. The Problem Based Learning (PBL) model proposed by MaastrichtMBA was for me the differentiator to pursue this programme.
The MaastrichtMBA programme is a solid step towards my career as a manager and a person willing to access Senior Management positions.
IN ADDITION, WHY DID YOU CHOOSE FOR THE DIGITAL BUSINESS ELECTIVE?
Market boundaries blurred with the digital transformation, and especially in this pandemic period, the challenges to accelerate the transformation and readapt the business model is must have to avoid collapse. I firmly believe that the MBAs Digital Business elective is a great programme that considerably enhances the ability to drive and participate in relevant business transformations.
HOW DO YOU THINK YOU WILL BENEFIT FROM THIS ON-CAMPUS EXECUTIVE MBA?
The MBA will help me become more skilled and versatile regardless of my job title. It will also increase my exposure to diverse perspectives on global, social, and business issues when interacting with my classmates whose backgrounds, experiences, and career goals differ from mine.
WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST ENJOYABLE PART OF THE COURSE SO FAR?
Interacting with people from diverse horizons and cultures is the most enjoyable part. The Organizational Behavior & Human Resources module was the first module I took in this MBA programme. I was impressed by the quality of the lecture and exchanges we had during the sessions.
AND HOW DO YOU EXPERIENCE THE MAASTRICHTMBA PROGRAMME DURING THIS HEALTH CRISIS WE ARE FACING CURRENTLY
The health crisis impacted our daily life. Last September, I was planning to attend my first MBA session in person at Maastricht. Still, unfortunately, like many of my classmates, I did it online. Nevertheless, the session’s outcome was beyond my expectations, thanks to the lecturers’ high availability and the exceptional organisation and preparation done by the MaastrichtMBA staff.
ANY TIPS FOR SOMEONE THINKING ABOUT APPLYING FOR MAASTRICHTMBA?
