HI ANGELA, WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO GET AN MBA AFTER AN ALREADY SUCCESSFUL CAREER?
After having the opportunity to build an extensive working experience in the technical area, I was ready to take the next step in my professional career, aiming for roles with higher responsibilities and leadership competences. To this end my motivation to do an MBA was to bring the necessary knowledge and elements to make this a reality.
YOU MUST HAVE HAD HIGH EXPECTATIONS FOR YOU MBA. WHAT MADE YOU CHOOSE THE MAASTRICHTMBA IN PARTICULAR?
The fact that MaastrichtMBA holds a Triple Crown accreditation weighed as one of the most important aspects in which I based my decision – I wanted to attend an institution that was reliable and with international excellence. In addition, I was also searching for an MBA in which I could benefit from a part-time programme. As I was sponsoring myself, I needed to combine the MBA programme with my job. In this aspect, the Executive MBA was the perfect combination, containing weeks of deep diving into the MBA programme, but also giving me enough free time to attend to my professional responsibilities.
HOW HAS IT BENEFITED YOU IN YOUR CAREER SINCE GRADUATING?
MaastrichtMBA brought me a deeper understanding of all aspects of business structure and functionality. Furthermore, the coaching sessions that were part of the Leadership Development Trajectory allowed me to assess my own standing, strongly contributing to enhance and enforce my management and leadership skills. I am confident to say that my participation in the MBA programme, combined with my determined drive for a career development, enabled me to successfully achieve new challenges in my professional environment.
