Here at the MaastrichtMBA, we love our alumni and enjoy staying in touch! We recently caught up with class of 2017 alumna Brigitte Grifgnee and reminisced over her experience at MaastrichtMBA and her current life. Read more to see what she is doing with all of that potential!
I wanted to be able to collaborate with all the functions within an organisation with the right terms and understanding. Intuitively I knew a lot from my experience, but going through all the different topics covered by the MBA was widening my competences.
I had the choice between Belgium MBAs and Maastricht, but I found the MaastrichtMBA more structured in terms of planning. The cultural diversity and the mix of nationalities were very interesting to me and I was convinced with the intensive use of English.
A lot of personal development amongst the module even if this was not the topic. You learn about yourself at every stage of the MBA as a lot of interaction is required before and after the modules as well. The internaltional week in South Africa also gave me the opportunity to bring competences to other type of organizations where the resources are scarce. You learn humility at the same time. Every experience counts.
You won’t regret it. It will fit your personal planning as much as your professional planning as you can organise everything around the week modules. Above all you also discover the Maastricht atmosphere which is fantastic!
Planning and balance between personal, professional and family time. Diversity, personal development and Thirsty thursdays!
By breaking the silos internally as interaction with other people in other departments became a second nature!
The eagerness to learn even more from others. Morever, the willingness to have a life balance.
Breaking the silo’s and becoming myself even more. And meeting fantastic people in the student group, but also in the MBA staff.
