HI DIANA, WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO DO AN MBA?
I have decided to join an MBA programme because I wanted to exit my comfort zone and to challenge myself further in my personal growth and in my career. I was interested in a programme that will allow me to be myself, to learn by doing and making errors while continuously growing.
WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO PURSUE THE ON-CAMPUS TRACK AT MAASTRICHTMBA?
I have decided to go for MaastrichtMBA because they have offered me an additional course focused on leadership. The Leadership Development Trajectory was the perfect avenue to help me seek my true self and identify my leadership style. In addition, I really liked the MaastrichtMBA programme team and the modular approach which gave us full weeks long classes, experiences and quality time with our classmates from all around the world.
HOW HAVE YOU PROFITED?
My biggest personal insight has been understanding myself better.
DID THE PROGRAMME MEET ALL OF YOUR EXPECTATIONS?
I would say that they even exceeded them and I am super happy I had the opportunity to be part of such an amazing team and programme.
WHAT DID YOU FIND THE MOST CHALLENGING MOMENT?
The balance between full time work, MBA assignments and study, family and social life. But with the right approach you can manage all and don’t compromise too much.
WHAT IS YOUR MOST PRECIOUS MOMENT ON THE PROGRAMME?
Connecting with likeminded individuals and staying connected with them after.
HOW HAS THIS PROGRAM INFLUENCED YOUR CAREER?
Professionally, this programme has enabled me to change my leadership style: being authentic and showing my complete self. WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) and be happy with that. It was important for me to deep dive into leadership and authenticity, analyse it, accept it and build on it. The programme has also helped me to develop a true helicopter view and to look at things from all perspectives while allowing me to make faster and bolder decisions.
CAN YOU GIVE AN EXAMPLE OF SOMETHING THAT YOU EXPERIENCED IN MAASTRICHTMBA THAT HAS HELPED YOU IN YOUR CAREER?
Exploring and finding my authentic leadership style and fully embracing it. This has helped grow incredibly fast in only two years and has propelled further in life and in my career.

Leading a Digital Transformation Programme for a major Dutch company by bridging the gap between Business Process, People and Technology.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO THOSE WHO ON THE SEARCH FOR AN EDUCATIONAL BOOST IN THEIR PROFESSIONAL LIFE?
Just go for it, apply and do it. Don’t be afraid of not having the time or for being too demanding. You will be amazed how fast times flies and how you will miss the experience once it’s gone :).
