Entrepreneurship and New Business Development

Entrepreneurship is viewed as an important tool for tackling complex sustainable development problems and challenges. In this course, you explore the concepts and definitions of (social) entrepreneurship and sustainable innovations. These subjects are addressed from multiple angles and from various contexts by looking at startups, family businesses, SMEs and multinationals. We will analyse organisations adopting innovative social enterprise approaches that focus on the whole supply chain and we will explore concepts related to effectual thinking and modern slavery.
