Vote Kristina & Peter - the Ben & Jerry’s for your MBA: serious quality, essential chunks of fun!

What is your country of origin?

Netherlands

What do your close friends usually call you?

Peter

Describe yourself in three words?

Curious, ambitious, sports-addicted

Why do you want to apply?

In the past year, the programme has brought me a ton of new insights, fun, and friendships.

Expectations were high and the program exceeded them! As president, I would love to help all students get the same kind of positive experience, both personally and professionally.

Kristina and I are running as a team with a shared agenda to contribute to the same experience for the students to come. Keep your eyes open for our agenda in the WhatsApp Supergroup and vote for both of us (one vote for each) if you like what you read!

What is the one thing you want to achieve as student president?

Four killer Thirsty Thursdays!

What would you like to change/address/achieve/improve being a student president?

Building on what’s already great, Kristina and I will focus on three areas:

  1. Enhancing education quality by strengthening how student feedback is gathered and acted on;
  2. Introducing operational improvements - from clearer assignments to simple but essential things like quality coffee and smoother access to learning materials;
  3. Strengthening the MBA community with more social activities, close ties to the alumni association, and more opportunities to connect beyond the classroom.

In short: helping the MBA experience be not just good, but exceptional - for everyone. For those interested, see our detailed action plan in the MBA WhatsApp Supergroup.

Can you please share with us why people should vote for you?

We’re coming to you with a with a single, well thought-through agenda and a shared commitment - pulling on one rope from the start. We take our candidacy seriously and will commit the time and energy needed to elevate the MaastrichtMBA experience - academically, socially, and operationally. Running as a team means double the effort, double the dedication - and double the fun. So if you want to support us, please, give one vote to Kristina and one to Peter - and get an effective team from day one.

Corporate or start-up?

Having experienced both for the past four years, I will choose the possibilities, resources, and variety of people in a corporate over the freedom and autonomy in a start-up.

Bookworm of street smart?

Street smart beats book worm any day of the week.

Thirsty Thursday or brunch in the sun?

Dancing or talking?

Any good night (out in Maastricht or in the yoga room in Orshof) starts with talking and ends with dancing!
