Why did you decide to pursue an MBA?

As an engineer, I had a solid technical background for my profession. Still, I always felt I needed more profound business knowledge to be a successful manager and leader. So, doing an MBA seemed to be the most suitable next step to enhance my career and improve my skills. When COVID-19 hit, and work began to slow down, I felt it was the ideal moment to pursue my MBA and do something productive.

Why did you decide to pursue an executive MBA at the MaastrichtMBA?

MaastrichtMBA was a great fit because of the modular part-time structure and outstanding reputation. After attending the introductory marketing presentations and performing a personal interview session with the Programme Director, it was clear to me that the programme was the perfect mix of academic excellence and applied professional approach.

How have you benefitted from your MBA degree?

My perspectives on professional and private matters have been broadened by meeting fellow students from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds. In addition to that, the discussions in classes and the individual assignments have provided me with an academic framework for dealing with the day-to-day and strategic topics within my company.

What advice do you have for anyone considering an Executive MBA at MaastrichtMBA?

Doing MaastrichtMBA is an invaluable experience for anybody who has some years of professional experience. It will change how you view your profession and broaden your perspectives.

What should applicants consider when they decide to do an MBA?

To get the most out of the MBA, you need to be willing to invest a lot of time and energy.

How do employers benefit from employees with an MBA degree?

Employees with the experience of an MBA are equipped with a set of skills that will allow them to take on management roles within a company, which can greatly benefit the employer and other employees within the company.

What stands out from your MaastrichtMBA experience?

The most significant experience of the MBA journey was the international week in California. To talk to entrepreneurs and managers from different cultural backgrounds and learn from them was an eye-opening experience.

What has been the most enjoyable part of the MaastrichtMBA programme?

The most enjoyable part of the MaastrichtMBA programme is the people. The academic staff, administration staff, and students create a unique environment and experience, which is a treasure I look forward to carrying with me for the rest of my life.
