To become even more acquainted with MaastrichtMBA and to show you how it feels for them working for or at MaastrichtMBA, we introduce our MBA team to you. This time we put a spotlight on the Programme Coordinator of our Online track Daria Doets.
WHAT IS YOUR ROLE IN THE MAASTRICHTMBA PROGRAMME?
Together with my colleague Diana, we are responsible for the overall coordination of the Online track, starting from the recruitment until we see the participants graduate. My main focus is on the coordination of the different courses and residential weeks.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN WORKING WITH US?
I joined the MaastrichtMBA team in May 2020. However, I have been working for UMIO | Maastricht University since 2015. Next to the coordination of shorter courses at the Executive Education Office, I am glad that I can now also join the MaastrichtMBA team to work on the Online track.
WHAT DO YOU DO IN YOU SPARE TIME?
I really like running a lot and make some beautiful tours on my mountain bike. Moreover, I enjoy cooking, listening to music and reading.
WHICH BOOK IS LAYING ON YOUR BEDSIDE TABLE?
I like to read! But to be honest, I should read on a more regular basis. On my bedside table I have magazines and a book of crossword puzzles.
WHAT CAREER DID YOU DREAM OF WHEN YOU WERE A CHILD?
As a kid I dreamed of working in a perfume factory.
IF YOU COULD BE ANY ANIMAL IN THE WORLD, WHAT ANIMAL WOULD YOU BE AND WHY?
I would like to be a tiger; I am impressed by it’s strength and leadership capabilities!
WHAT WAS THE LAST GIFT YOU GAVE SOMEONE?
I surprised my boyfriend with a bib number for a trail run, together with a bottle of beer and waffles.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PLACE IN THE WORLD?
Ouch, that is a difficult question! So many beautiful places and perhaps I have only seen 1%. I particular like nature and small towns: beach, forest, southern of Limburg, Luxemburg, France….
