This time we put a spotlight on the Recruitment Officer of our Online track Diana Berdun Mingo.
WHAT IS YOUR ROLE IN THE MAASTRICHTMBA PROGRAMME?
Together with my colleague Daria, we are responsible for the overall coordination of the online track, starting from the recruitment until we see the participants graduate. Our main goal is to make sure our students have a great MBA experience!
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN WORKING WITH US?
I joined the team shortly after the summer break of 2020.
WHAT DO YOU DO IN YOU SPARE TIME?
Taking pictures, running (I’m preparing myself to run half a marathon) and dancing (I’m following flamenco and hip hop lessons). I try to do all these activities while the kids are still asleep.
CAN YOU TELL US A BIT ABOUT YOUR KIDS?
I have two kids. Nora –she’s 6- and Nico, he’ll be turning 3 next November. Nora likes to dance (I wonder whom she got that from) and is very creative. Nico loves tractors and he is always running, he skips the walking part. I always tell them that I love them ‘hasta la luna ida y vuelta‘.
WHICH BOOK IS LAYING ON YOUR BEDSIDE TABLE?
I currently have 3 books on my bedside table. Todos los sueños del mundo by Theresa Revay, Patria by Fernando Aramburu and Untamed by Glennon Doyle. If I’m too tired, I always read one in Spanish.
WHAT CAREER DID YOU DREAM OF WHEN YOU WERE A CHILD?
I wanted to be a ballerina and a chef.
IF YOU COULD BE ANY ANIMAL IN THE WORLD, WHAT ANIMAL WOULD YOU BE AND WHY?
What’s the animal with the best memory? The elephant? My daughter says I have a mosquito memory, I tend to forget a lot of things…
WHAT WAS THE LAST GIFT YOU GAVE SOMEONE?
A nice basket of figs from my garden.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PLACE IN THE WORLD?
So far that would be Berlin.
