WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO PURSUE AN MBA?
After finishing my Master in International Management, I was in desired to pursue an MBA. However, I started moving to different job positions at my current employer, and time started passing by, but not the idea of an MBA.
Finally, last year I decided that was time to go back to university. The main reason to pursue an MBA were to improve my leadership skills, to explore the latest international business trends, to learn and apply the newest management tools and techniques, and moreover to challenge myself with a strategic thinking approach.
WHICH SKILLS DO YOU WANT TO REFINE DURING THE ONLINE TRACK?
I would like to continue mastering my leadership and management skills, as well as learning the strategical and financial concepts and tools that I can apply in my daily job.

I have just finished my first year of the MBA, and one of the major learning process is that I have learned and expanded my knowledge by analysing and applying different strategic tools and techniques during the assignments.
In addition, by interacting and reacting to different subjects during the weekly discussions and group assignments it gives me the chance to digest, learn and apply this knowledge in my work and daily life. Each student brings in his own expertise and point of view and this to me is a very strong asset of the programme.
WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST ENJOYABLE PART OF THE COURSE SO FAR?
So far, the most enjoyable part has been the interaction and teamwork during the group assignments, because it is the chance to get to know more about your fellow students, and the exchange of ideas and expertise of each team member is just priceless and very inspirational.
Furthermore, I have enjoyed the modules Digital Business, Strategic Management, and Managerial Economics because I have learned different strategic tools that I could apply in my professional career.
AND HOW DO YOU EXPERIENCE THE MAASTRICHTMBA PROGRAMME DURING THESE DIFFICULT TIMES CAUSED BY THE CURRENT CRISIS?
Actually, the pandemic helped me to decide to pursue an MBA as I wanted to challenge myself and use my free time on something creative and valuable. Therefore, my experience during these times has been just amasing as I have a goal and purpose to go for after working hours.
