Here at the MaastrichtMBA, we love our alumni and enjoy staying in touch! We recently caught up with class of 2017 alumna Yati Afendy and reminisced over her experience at MaastrichtMBA and her current life. Read more to see what she is doing with all of that potential!
I decided to pursue an MBA as I wanted to enhance my business leadership skills to lead my team better. I also wanted to increase my marketability as a professional.
The flexible programme offered meant that I was able to work towards the MBA without having to quit a job that I loved.
I have benefited from the diverse perspectives and experiences of the programme participants. With skills from the programme, I am able to holistically create solutions that benefit both my company and my company’s customers.
My advice would be to reach out to the friendly UMIO staff and alumni like myself to get to know more about this programme.
Applicants should know that the time and effort required for this programme is not small, however it will be rewarding.
Employers benefit from having grounded leaders who can apply their new management and creative problem-solving skills immediately.
The constant call to reflect as leaders. Gaining lifelong friends who make the journey of personal and professional development unforgettable.
There were innumerable enjoyable moments but personally, the international week in South-Africa was a personal highlight as it enhanced the skills already gained from my career expanding tech businesses globally.
